Thanks for a great event

Thank you for coming to Brighton and making the 9th Annual Wasatch Powder Keg a huge success.  We had a lot of positive feedback from the racing community and we appreciate hearing it all.  This year’s race was our largest yet with 141 registered racers (135 starters).  I believe this also makes it the largest race in the west (if not the country).

We would like to ask that if you think the Powder Keg is a great event and that Brighton is a great host and a great race location to please send your positive feedback directly to Brighton Resort at info@brightonresort.com.  This positive feedback will help Brighton evaluate the value of the event for them and help ensure that they will continue to host the event.  Please also feel free to send any race feedback or recommendations directly to us at powkeg@gmail.com.

Results are posted here.  We have a few photos posted on the Powder Keg Facebook page and photojournalist, Sallie Shatz has posted a gallery of photos on her site at:http://galleries.shatziephotos.com/powderkeg2011/.  Please contact her directly to purchase a print (sallie@sopris.net).  Thank you, Sallie!

Jim Hopkins put together a great You Tube video of the race.  There is also a PCTV You Tube video.

We found a pair of clear prescription lens glasses with brown frames.  If these are yours, please let us know.

Thanks again for helping to make the Powder Keg a great event.
